Laura G. Cogdill                           educator,  award-winning author
A Tallahassee native who graduated Florida State University, Laura Cogdill is certified in elementary and primary education and has taught in these grades for over twenty years.  

The Tallahassee Writers Association, where Laura served as secretary, and the Havana Writers Group, have played an important role in challenging Laura to be a better writer and a better person. The "Tallahassee Democrat",  "Tallahassee Magazine" and "Seven Hills Literary Review" have carried her work.   "Liquidating 
Life" won a silver medal from the Florida Authors and Publishers Association in the health/fitness category in August, 2014.

Laura's yard shows the evidence of her love for gardening.  She also enjoys playing the piano and flute, hiking, and reading.
